What is the ZMA?
ZMA stands for Zestimate Market Analysis. It's a weekly outreach tool that pulls Zillow data on a homeowner's property and generates a ready-to-send personalized message — either a text or email — that you send directly from your own phone or email account.
Instead of a generic "just checking in" message, the ZMA references the homeowner's specific property: their Zestimate, estimated equity growth since purchase, and how the market has moved. This makes the message feel personal and relevant, which is why it consistently generates responses and listing conversations.
ZMA is available on both Creator Plan (25/week) and AI Pro (50/week).
How It Works
Step 1 — Upload Your Contacts
Go to zma.listingleads.com and click All Contacts → Add Contacts → Upload Contacts.
Upload a CSV file exported from your CRM or contact list. The tool supports any size database — from 200 to 10,000 contacts.
The tool works best with your Sphere of Influence (SOI): past clients, warm leads, and people who know you.
Step 2 — Go to the ZMA Tab
Click the ZMA tab at the top. You'll see three columns:
Up Next — contacts queued and waiting to be enriched
Ready — contacts with messages generated and ready to send
Completed — contacts you've already sent to (contacted or skipped)
Step 3 — Generate Your ZMAs
When you're ready for your weekly ZMA session, click the Generate ZMA button. The tool will pull Zillow data for the next batch of contacts in your queue and create a personalized message for each one.
Step 4 — Send the Messages
For each contact in your Ready queue, you'll see two options:
Send via iMessage — opens iMessage on your Mac with the contact's phone number and the pre-written script. You just hit Send.
Send via Email — opens your default email app (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) with the contact's email address, subject line, and message pre-filled.
This is always a one-to-one send — not bulk texting or a mass email blast. The message comes from you, through your own accounts.
Best Practice: Your Weekly ZMA Routine
Block 15–30 minutes once per week on your calendar as your ZMA Day.
On that day:
Log in to zma.listingleads.com
2. Click the ZMA tab
3. Hit Generate ZMA
4. Work through your Ready queue — copy, paste, send
5. Done
Most agents can send 25–50 ZMAs in under 30 minutes. Consistency is what drives results — agents who do this every week report 5–10 additional listing conversations per year from ZMA alone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does ZMA send the messages automatically?
No. The tool opens your email or iMessage app with the message pre-filled. You review it and click Send yourself. This keeps the outreach personal and sends it from your own accounts.
Can I use ZMA on Android?
Yes. Use the copy option to copy the message, then paste it into your Android texting app.
Does ZMA work with my CRM?
If your Gmail is connected to your CRM (like Follow Up Boss), emails sent through ZMA will log in the contact's profile automatically. Text messages generally don't sync automatically.
What data does ZMA pull?
The tool pulls the contact's Zestimate, purchase price and year, estimated equity growth, and property address from Zillow.
Does ZMA work in Canada?
The ZMA tool relies on Zillow data. Because Zillow has limited coverage in Canada, results may be inconsistent. It works best for U.S.-based contacts.
Why aren't my ZMAs showing up?
Refresh the page and confirm your upload completed successfully. Make sure your CSV included a property address. If the issue continues, contact support at [email protected].
